The parking sensors in the Ford Focus can be disabled by depressing the parking sensor button located on the center dash. Alternatively, owners can visit their vehicle's main menu and select "settings" and follow the prompts to switch off parking warning chimes. If the chimes are constant or going off at inappropriate times, the issue might lie with a faulty Parking Sensor Module. Also keep in mind, the sensors should be mounted on the front and rear bumpers and can become damaged due to road debris. They also get d***y and need to be cleaned to continue functioning. The cost to replace the Ford Focus' parking sensors ranges from $500 to $1300 per bumper for both parts and labor.
