The 2003 Honda Pilot will have a very easy method to reset the maintenance light. You'll first need to put the key in the ignition but leave it in the off position. Now press down and hold on to the select/reset button located behind Your steering wheel. Now while continuing to keep the button held down You will move the ignition in to the ON position. Now finally just keep holding the button down for another 10 seconds and after that You should see the light blink and then go away. You should now have Your light reset but if it comes back on just gives these steps a second try.

Switch the ignition to the "ii" location by turning the key to reset the maintenance light inside a honda pilot. Switch the ignition to the "off" spot, then press and hold the "trip-b" button in the odometer. Keep holding the "trip-" odometer button wile turning the ignition back to the "ii" spot until the maint light is switched off. Switch "off" and then "on" the engine has cleared to search for the maint signal.
