Turning off the dome light in a Ford F250 is pretty easy to do. There is a switch that is located on the ceiling of the vehicle and that controls all of the interior lighting. There are three positions on the switch, on, off, and door. If your vehicle's switch is in the door position then they should turn on every time that you open the door and turn off automatically shortly after you close the doors or immediately if you press the lock button on your key fob. If that system is not working then you will need to check the door sensors to Make sure that they are working and free from damage.

If you’re like me and your dome light does not have those positions, your dimmer toggle switch in the dashboard is the solution. If you hold down the top of it it will turn all your interior lights on, if you hold down on the bottom of the toggle it will turn all of them off.

There is a button on the roof of the cab that controls the dome light. Hit it to turn the light on and off.
My dome light turns itself on when the truck is not running and it runs my batteries down. How can I stop this?
