If You want to disable the passenger side airbag on the 2009 Ford Ranger then You have two options. The first is to use the deactivation lock on the car. Look on the dash for a small circle. It will say Passenger Airbag or in some cases PassBag. Insert the car key and turn it till it gets to the off position, then press and hold the button till You hear a beep. This will turn it off till the next time You drive. If You want to turn it off for good then look for the fuse box to the left of the steering wheel. In here will be a fuse for the passenger airbag. Pull this and it will be off for good. That said You will be liable for higher charges should You injure someone in Your car, so be warned.
