The passenger airbag system in the Ford Edge normally will turn off when the vehicle detects that someone is in the seat, but is below a certain weight limit. This will help prevent children from getting hurt if the airbag were to deploy. If You want to manually turn off the airbag there is a pretty easy way to do it. First You will want to find the airbag deactivation switch. This can be found in the glove compartment on the side of it. Start with Your vehicle in the on position without the engine running and press the button. After that start the car and there should be a passenger airbag off light illuminated on the dash to remind You.

Make sure that the passenger is sitting in the seat. .Turn on the car. Then after one minute the car can adjust and it will turn off.
