If Your Toyota C-HR parking sensors are not working properly the most likely reason is a software problem. The sensor relay the information that they get to a computer that will present the information on the dash and make an Audible chime while You are parking. There is a software update that is available for the system that fixes some of the problems. If a software update does not make them work properly then there could be physical problems. If the sensors are extremely d***y they may not work properly. Also if the wiring to the back of the sensor is loose they will not work as expected. Be sure to check all of these things to make sure the system works.

The toyota chr parking sensors have been reported as a bug in the software. You can reboot or reset the system and it will work as advertised.

I paid Toyota $360 yesterday for a diagnostic just for them to tell me the front sensor was going bad and it would be $1k to fix. It’s been messing up for about two years now. I’m trying to see if others are having the same problem
