The Toyota Camry brake light causes are faulty brake pads and brakes lock up. Brake equipment will become old and will need to be replaced at some point. The brake pads and shoes need replacing every 50,000 miles. The brake rotors need to be changed every 60,000 miles. The brake fluid needs to be changed every 20,000 to 45,000 miles. Your brakes need to be in the beSTShape. Having faulty brakes will lead into difficulties. Screeching sounds can arise from not enough brake fluid. A loose bearing can make for poor stops. The brakes can lock up, which will result in crashes. Bad brake pads will result in problems with the vehicle coming to a halt. Premature brake wear is an issues that needs to be addressed.

One common reason for the parking brake light to stay on is a failing or failed switch. This can be checked easily by jiggling the handle after it is down. If the light turns off (or turns off and then back on), the switch is the most likely culprit and will need to be replaced.
