The Toyota Camry is listed as a mid size car in the 1980s and 1990s when they were first introduced to America. Later on the Toyota Camry was then classed as a full size car in the US because of the body style changes. Over the years the vehicle has changed sizes throughout the new models that were released. It started with a smaller body and then was increased to keep up with the larger more comfortable cars in itS-Class. For the vehicle to bE-Classified as a mid-size car it needs to have a volume for the interior to be 110 to 119 cubic feet by the EPA. If it is over that classification it will be a full size and if it is smaller than that it will be a compact car.
