The 2011 Honda CR-V ac compressor recall was in regards to an error in manufacturing. The compressor would click on and off, at random, which would make it useless. This would result in the air changing from hot to cold, and going from a strong air current to a weak one. The stress on the motor would also cause damage to the system over time. If You need to take it in to have it fixed it will cost You about 400 to have fixed. That said if You take it into Honda You may be able to get it fixed for free. That said, the age of this car makes it possible that they will not do it.

There is an issue with the ac compressor clicking on and off that has prompted a recall in the 2011 honda crv.
My compressor is currently getting replaced (it sounded like it was haunted by a ghost going whooo ever time I pushed on the accelerator) Scorching hot air was coming through my vents if I turned on my ac or defoggers. Which is awesome in the summer. There wasn’t a recall on it. I checked. Nor was there one on the heat. Which has broken twice now (in the winter)
My honda crv is having the air conditioner problem now it gets hot and blows out hot air
