There is a Ford F-150 power steering hose recall in 2020 for the 2018-2020 years. The power steering fluid needs to be changed every 75,000 miles. Along with changing fluids, You will come across noises from steering parts. A loose bearing will become annoying to the ear. A faulty bearing will make a nasty sound. Having great steering is important for changing lanes and moving about on the road. You will eventually come across some problems though. The steering pump can become loose and that will be disaster for Your vehicle. The strut bearings may become bad. The rack mount can become faulty. Steering fluid can leak at one point. It may turn to one side. The steering wheel can become stuck.

Ford has experienced issues related to power steering hoses in multiple products since 2004. A recall was issued in 2020 concerning model year 2018-2020 f150s, as well as recalls for some 2014-2015 model ford and lincoln vehicles due to issues related to the power steering pump itself.
