Ford itself doesn't provide a forum to talk about electrical issues on the Ford Explorer, but a group of users have put together a third party one. The URL for that is located here: https://www.explorerforum.com/forums/tags/electrical-problems/ You'll be able to find a wealth of information regarding some of the electrical problems throughout all years of the Explorer there, but I want to stress, like any information you read on the Internet (yes, including here, you goof!) you should take it with a grain of salt until you can gauge the expertise, authority, and trustworthiness of it.

The most common issues related to the electrical system on the ford explorer are related to model years 2015 and newer, where weak connections can cause the loss of battery voltage to memory modules, causing the vehicle to "forget" saved settings and configurations.
