Yes, there was a headlight recall for the 2002-2004 Honda CR-V. These recalls were made due to faulty headlights which would become non-functional before its expected lifespan. The problem was detected inside the headlight switch which would make it inoperative after a while. The headlight problem was actually caused by electrical issues because of bad wiring. Honda took full responsibility and offered recalls to have this problem fixed. A total of 554,000 vehicles were reported to have been affected by this problem. Honda sent out the notices for the recalls to the owners, and was able to rectify problems with the defective part. As headlights are an important element in driving, it was crucial to fix it asap.

A recall of honda cr-v and honda pilot was issued over a concern that the headlight low beams could suddenly stop working due to a possible electric issue within the headlight switch.
