It is possible to bypass the speed limiter in the Ford F-150, effectively removing the governor. However, it is generally not a recommended thing to do on Your vehicle. Since it is put in place as a safety measure, please be aware that bypassing it might only leave You exposed to any potential hazards. Also, if the vehicle is under a warranty, removing the governor can possibly be grounds for voiding the warranty. Insurance companies might also take things like that into account, when necessary to do so.

Removing the governor from a ford f150 is not recommended, as it is the device which controls the max speed in the truck.
