Dodge Ram owners commonly experience the following Aisin transmission problems. While it sometimes shifts smoothly, this is usually not the case. It feels extremely worn out and provides a jerky transmission. At times, the shifts can be sudden and abrupt which ruins the driving experience for many owners. Due to these problems, the engine is sure to run rough and the vehicle may keep shaking or grinding while driving as well. Another issue is that it frequently keeps unlocking and locking the converter. While the Aisin transmission can be reliable at times, they certainly do not pair well with the Dodge Ram vehicles. The consensus seems is that the Dodge Ram vehicles with an Aisin transmission have poor progRamming.
I have had two Aisen’s go out in less than a year. I am currently broke down out of town. Have to abandon trailer to get truck back to dealership, then return with old dodge to return trailer.😡

Shifting from first to second sometimes shutters between gears,I have to baby it between gears with the throttle. Don’t think I should have to be doing this with a 80+ thousand dollar truck with lessthan 35,000 miles
2020 Ram 3500 with 60K miles. Transmission went out in the middle of no where West Texas 500 miles from home. 5MPH for 10 miles to find a town & arrange tow while trying to figure out a room & a way home for us and a trailer. Warranty repair, but what a pain.

I have a 2022 3500 with 2117 Kms on it and the Aisin transmission went. Have been waiting 18 months to get my truck back. Oh, it is a work truck that hasn’t worked much. They are terrible at warranty work
