The Ford transit custom battery problems are battery drains rapidly or dead battery. This piece of equipment will eventually become useless. The battery will need to be swapped out every 50,000 to 60,000 miles. It may coSTSome money, but You will have to cough up the cash to keep Your car running. You will come into issues with the battery during the life cycle of the vehicle. There can be a leak, causing the fluid to spill all over the place. The battery can just be completely drained. You will need to recharge or replace it at this point. The battery can drain quickly and will need to fixed. A cracked case could come about and will need to be replaced completely.

Any one come with a fix for the single battery transit custom 2015 mine keeps going flat. Fitted new battery still the same problem charged overnight drove 30 minutes to work got in to come home flat again ?

Anyone had problems when the doors are open and light staying on which is causing battery to die
I had the same problem on my van . The Headlights come on at night when temperatures outside are colder than 47 degrees . Had caught it on our security cameras 30 days at Sam Galloway Ford and they can’t fix it cause they only know how to guess to fix things so now it’s off to another Ford dealership hopefully they have real service techs that can use a meter and fix it .

If the Ford transit custom is having issues with the battery, they could be caused by a few things. A bad alternator will cause it to not charge, as can a bad battery cable. The battery itself could also be dead. Any of these issues will lead to electrical issues or will cause the vehicle to not start.

No good these vans for builders going back & forward to get tools, materials etc, open door & every light comes on! Thought it was a fault with the last van but had a brand new one now for two years & having to charge it every month! The stop start stopped working after the second month of owning it because the battery didn’t have sufficient charge! Bring back my Vivaro

Ford, please design your vehicles properly. So many battery issues. I'm going to swap my load space lights for LED. Wish me luck.

My small 2018 has been dead many times due to the 10 minutes delay on 13 lights on. I made a camper out of it first battery 10 months the second one just before warranty ended the would not do a second ... It was dead every other morning the think that is ok terrible !
