The most common problem that has been reported for the 2006 Dodge 5.7L hemi engine has to do with the exhaust manifold bolts. These bolts have been known to shear and crack which will lead to them breaking off. When this happens the exhaust will fall off the bottom of the engine and You will essentially be running with open headers on the vehicle. Another common problem has to do with coolant leaks. When coolant leaks happen they can lead to Your engine overheating which can damage the pistons and gaskets throughout the motor and that can cause permanent damage that is impossible to repair. Usually this will happen when coolant leaks out of one of the hoses in the engine.
