The most common problems with the electrical system in a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr is due to a failed alternator. The alternator is driven by the accessory drive belt and keeps Your car running as well as charges the battery. When this starts to fail then the electrical system gets worn down and dies. Another common electrical problem are general problems with the power control module. If You notice that Your vehicle is running rough then You should use an OBD II scan tool to see if there are any codes that have been thrown to the PCM. These have been known to fail in the past and that can lead to the vehicle not running at all.

If the 2006 lincoln zephy is having electrical issues it can stem from a few things. Bad wires will cause power to not flow as it should, while a bad battery or alternator will cause the car to not have power. You could also have a blown fuse. All of these can lead to parts not working, or not functioning as they should.
