The most common electrical problem with a GMC Acadia is having a dead battery. Batteries are considered to be consumable parts of the car and they will need to be replaced from time to time. If you frequently have dead batteries, or changing it does not solve the problem then that could be a sign of a bigger problem. When you have a problem with the alternator that will lead to the battery not charging up. This can be caused either by a problem with the rotor/stator assembly or the voltage regulator. The best way to determine if you have a battery or an alternator problem is to do a battery or alternator test on the vehicle.

Will be from leaking roof or window. Will cause you fuse box and or bcm to become corroded. I have this issue. Now my l termanal on my alternator isn't working. And I'm getting codes for doors lights and bus A not responding. I'm taking my bcm out and trying to repair it I cleaned fuse box up and it's ok.. Then if alternator doesn't charge I'm changing it again. I've done had 2 put on and 2 batterys. Before I bought it.
