The older Toyota Corollas - so possibly 2009 or a bit before or after - may experience issues with the automatic transmission in the form of problems with shifting correctly. There were over 300 people that reported having problems with it, so if Your car is around 125,000 to 150,000 miles, You might need to replace shifting solenoids, or adjust the throttle position sensor. If You need to replace a shift solenoid, the cost can range from $145 to $400 for a single solenoid if You take it to the dealership. If for whatever reason, You end up needing to replace the TPS, the cost will be from about $105 to $200. Call Your dealership to get an estimate for cost if You simply want it adjusted.
