The 2012 FIAT 500 has received several reports of issues concerning the electrical system. Perhaps you are experiencing symptoms, such as lurching, flickering lights, or loss of power. The most commonly reported issue with the electrical system for this Make and model is the starter, which may randomly fail to engage. It may start one day, and not the next, and become sporadic. If the starter needs to be replaced, it will cost you between $240 and $547 on average. You may also be experiencing exterior marker light failure that is intermittent, or a faulty ground wire that extends from the gear shifter. If the wire is bad, it should be replaced. This will cost around $10 to $60.

Some potential electrical problems in a 2012 fiat 500 are due to a dead battery, bad alternator or blown fuses.
