The 2012 Toyota Camry has door locks that use both a mechanical lock function, as well as a computer that helps control them. Either of these could be the problem as to why Your doors are not locking or unlocking. The most common reason Your doors will refuse to unlock is because there is a problem with one of the door lock actuators. When one of these fails then a single door will not unlock when You press the button. If all of Your doors do not lock or unlock when You press the button then that is most likely a problem with the body control module. You will want to let a Toyota mechanic diagnose the issues since it requires a specialized tool to read.

Some of the 2012 toyota camry door lock problems are the door lock actuators will continuously cycle, draining the battery and locks by itself and refuses to unlock.
