There have been reports of the battery running down abruptly, even with a good alternator. There have also been reports of the battery having a hard time starting in the winter. This can be as a result of losing power in the cold weather. There are many signs that Your car needs a battery replacement. The engine light is on, corroded connectors, a slow starting engine, and even bad smells from the battery. Your Honda CR-V battery should typically last between 3 to 5 years. But that depends on driving habits, battery size, and weather conditions. The battery price range goes from about $125 to $250. You should always check Your battery at a workshop before changing it.

This likely the same issue in class action parasitic draw. Unfortunately my 2014 is on 4th battery in year.its either the battery manufacturer as the same cell does. Alternator checked and their answer was 1st the electric seat switch was issue. I am replacing battery again today and hoping it lasts until the chip shortage is over so I can buy Toyota.

If the 2014 honda crv is having issues with the battery, they could be caused by a few things. A bad alternator will cause it to not charge, as can a bad battery cable. The battery itself could also be dead. Any of these issues will lead to electrical issues or will cause the vehicle to not start.
