The most common problem with the air conditioning in a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe is usually caused by a blown fuse to the blower motor. The blower motor is a fan that is located inside of your dash and it is what actually moves the air around the cabin of your vehicle. When this fails you will usually get no airflow, or extremely weak airflow. Another problem that can happen but is not as common is a freon leak. When the freon lines in your AC system leak they will release the refrigerant stored in them. When this happens you will lose cooling capacity for the vehicle and you will notice that the air does not blow as cold as it did before.

My 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe climate control will work for months than shutdown and nothing works, heat or AC. Than after a week or so it will turn on and work fine for a month or two and do the same thing over again, not sure what the problem would be.

3rd summer in a row my a/c isn’t working got fixed in 2021 and 2022 same exact thing. Now summer 2023 is starting I have no a/c again. It’s been the high side line and it’s not been recalled so I have to pay each time to get it fixed. $500 the first year and $900 the second year(which I declined and took someplace else for a fraction of that). Who knows how much they will want this year
