What are some of the 2015 Lincoln MKC liftgate problems?

The 2015 Lincoln MKC manifests liftgate problems often during very cold weather; You'll see this when it's in the negative 20s to 30s (below zero), and it's thought to be related to the sensor or hydraulics. In weather not quite that cold, often the liftgate will either fail to deploy to a down position, or lift back to the retaining position. This can be because You didn't wait long enough before closing it back up (ie, You hit the key fob too rapidly) or because of failure with the motor (over time).
