In 2015, Dodge fundamentally changed the lighting control and management systems across the Ram series. In doing so, they failed to realize that there was a progRamming error that caused voltage to fluctuate in the lights. Furthermore, the computerized system that controlled lighting under-powered many of the lights on the car. As a result, many users began to experience flickering lights, under-powered lights and in some cases, malfunctioning lights altogether. Dodge rolled out a firmware update soon after to address the issue. If Your lighting is still being finicky, consider takeng Your car to a dealership to update the firmware through a TSB.

The two most common issues with the lights on the 2015 ram 1500 are the bulbs burning out, or the wire providing power going bad.
