The 2017 Buick Encore has received numerous reports over the last few years regarding its stabilitrak system. Many experiences have been reported, all of them adverse. One symptom You may see is a defective wheel speed sensor, which can cause a sudden loss of traction. You also may find that You have a faulty brake pedal switch, which can cost between $30 and $78 to replace. If the problem is due to using the wrong sized tire, You can remedy it by replacing it will the correct type. You can expect to pay between $38 and $274 per new tire. They can be found at any automotive parts and accessories retail location. If You have it done by a professional, You will pay an additional $40 to $185 for labor.

My Stabilitrak Light came on my dashboard last night after months of having what I thought was transmission issues. I took it to the dealership, they test drove it and of course did not experience the issue (it was coming and going at this time). Last night, it would hardly drive and I received the warning. Is there not a Recall for this on the 2017 Buick Encore?
