The air conditioner for a 2018 Buick Encore could face a large amount of different problems that will lead it to stop working. It cost $200 to diagnose the problem at a local GM service department and will cost $750 to fix the problem which is a leaky condenser. I have researched and found many Encore owners with the same experience, it should be recalled!

I bought my 2018 Encore brand new. My air conditioner quit working in 2020. Luckily, it was covered by the warranty. Here it is 2022 and guess what, my air conditioner quit working again.

At 77,000 miles my AC went out the condenser seized and now it’s been over a month waiting for the part I’m seeing a lot of people with this problem it should be a recall on this.

My 2020 Encore with 5000 miles has already been in the shop for this.They ordered a new blower motor and added dye to my AC system to try to trace where it is leaking from. I won't know until next week where itis coming from and what the actual problem is. Ridiculous.
I bought my 2018 Buick Encore in 2020 after it had come off of a lease. In 2022, I had it in the shop for over a week to get the AC fixed and it is going back in the shop in 2023 because the AC is not working again. I am thanking the fates that I bought the extended waranty. If I had know these problems, I would have never purchased the vehicle.

I have a 2018 Encore 55,000 KM The A/C was not working Took it the dealer they fixed it all under warranty My car came with a four year 80,000 KM warranty The person who was told their warranty was over at 54,000 KM should go back at the dealer

I've got 57,000 miles on my 2018 Buick Encore and once I hit about 55,000, my A/C stopped blowing cold air. It takes about 1 to 2 hours I'm driving with it on before it begins to blow slightly cool to warm air. When I call at the dealership they said that my bumper to bumper warranty ended at 50,000 miles so it's no longer covered and a diagnostic is going to cost me $145 before repairs. I dread what it's gonna cost me to actually repair my Encore.
My mom bought a new 2020 encore today, was driving from texas to GA and the air conditioning stopped blowing cold in Mississippi.
