The BMW X5 E70's reverse camera is susceptible to many problems, typically caused by obstruction or wiring concerns. Since the rearview camera has quite a bit of wiring, it's simple to see why this would be a concern. If Your camera is malfunctioning, it's certainly one of the first things You want to check. I recommend takeng a look at where the harness connects to the display, and where it connects to the camera hardware first. Inspect the entire cable run, to see if You can identify any areas where there may be damage or a short circuit.

For the bmw x5 e70 2020 the most common issue with the back up camera is the wire failing to power it, and the camera may be d***y and not working.
The image of the reverse camera is black and white instead of colour and real. What might be the problem? The rear reverse camera or the module that controls it? Thank you
