What are some of the Mazda 2 engine mount problems?

The engine mounts on a lot of Mazda vehicles are known for their problems; this extends to the Mazda2. I've actually done a few replacements on a Mazda3 myself, and I'll tell You that it isn't fun. Typically, You're looking at excessive engine vibration or knock from a damaged or loose engine mount, which can cause bigger problems down the line. My problem actually started with me thinking that there was a transmission problem, because the engine should shift drastically when there was a changing of gears. Be aware that the motor mounts can also be at fault for this. To remedy, You'll typically have to replace, but first make sure that You're not just loose; this can be a simple, albeit annoying, fix.
