Some of the Nissan NV350 engine problems are loose gasket and oil leaks. The coolant needs to be changed every 60,000 miles or so. Your air filter needs to be changed every 15,000 to 30,000 miles or so. The spark plugs need to be changed every 100,000 miles or so unless it's a copper one. A cooper spark plug needs to be changed every 30,000 miles or so. You will come into many issues with an engine. A dire problem is the engine overheating. This may lead to car fires and the vehicle exploding. There could be excessive oil use, requiring the oil to be changed quickly. A spark plug may come off, causing engine issues. A gasket may become loose and that needs to be tightened up. You can have oil leaks and those need to be repaired quickly.

If the Nissan nv350 is having issues with the engine then it can experience a wide variety of problems. Not starting, stalling out, shaking when idle, weak acceleration, and general poor Performance are all common engine related issues.

I think that the biggest problem is the loss of oil pressure tension in the chain tensioner. Once that happens, the chain rattles and wears off, then damages the sprockets and eventually either slips off or tears off and causes valve damages. As this happens, you get oil sludge, fine metals in the sump, misfires. Such could be caused by the engine oil, the oil filter or the oil pump. This then requires that the engine be serviced every 5-10K km.
