The Nissan Pathfinder alarm system problems are faulty key fob and sensitive shock sensor. You will come into problems with the battery during the life cycle of the vehicle. There can be a leak, causing the fluid to come out. The battery can just be completely out of juice. You will need to recharge or replace it at this juncture. A cracked case could arise and will need to be replaced completely. The battery can drain rapidly and will need to fixed. This part of the car will eventually become ineffective. To reset the alarm on the Nissan Pathfinder you need to lock all the doors, then unlock the driver side and put the key into the on position. Now turn it off and then back on twice and it will reset. If the immobilizer is messed up then the alarm will not work.

I just had the no start issue. I had to unlock my rear window with the key, open the window and close the window for the security system to allow me to start the vehicle
