Some of the 2010 Chevy Silverado transmission problems reported by consumers are struggling with harsh shifting, transmission slipping, shuddering, and a faulty torque converter. You should follow the service manual and flush Your transmission fluid after 60,000 miles to ensure that You get the most out of Your transmission and eliminate any user problems. If are using Your truck in rough terrain or towing a trailer it is imperative to flush the system every 45,000 miles. The cost for transmission fluid will range from $7 to $12 per quart depending on the brand and quality. To execute the flush, You can take it to a mechanic or dealer and the price would range from $100 - $150.

The most common transmission problems on a 2010 chevy silverado are related to the vehicle having hard shifts and having the shift cable linkage break.
