The 2013 Chevy Equinox timing chain issues are rattling noise at idle and engine lacks power. Your air filter needs to be changed every 15,000 to 30,000 miles or so. The coolant needs to be changed every 60,000 miles. The spark plugs need to be replaced every 100,000 miles unless it's a copper one. A cooper spark plug needs to be replaced every 30,000 miles. You will come across many issues with an engine. You can have oil leaks and those need to be repaired quickly. A gasket may be loose and that needs to be tightened up quickly. A spark plug may pop off, causing engine issues. There could be excessive oil use, requiring the oil to be changed sooner than expected. A really serious problem is the engine overheating. This may lead to fires and the car exploding.

Don’t get a Chevrolet Equinox 2013 model. These cars have 2 timing chains. Mine was replace not even 2 years ago and it’s already bad again. These cars are trash!

The main timing chain issues in the 2013 chevy equinox are related to the timing chain guides breaking.
