If You've got an issue with the clock resetting on Your Chevrolet Equinox, there are a few things You can look into to try to sort that out. The dominant reason this issue might manifest is going to be the battery. If it's been cold outside for awhile, Your battery's doing a bit more duty, and You'll find the clock has reset, or, if it's electronic, even the trip counter on the odometer can zero out as well. The correction here is to charge or replace the battery. Another reason You might see this behavior is because of a short in the electrical system. This is much rarer, but You'll know this is the issue if You notice other gauges also behaving erratically.

If your clock always needs to be reset in a chevy equinox you will need to take it to a dealer as there was a service bulletin about the issue.

My clock isnt keeping the right time..have to set the time every time I get in the car...if there was issues and it involved the clock gonna call dealership tomorrow
