The base models of the Chevy Cruze come with a 1.8L 4Cylinder engine. If You want a turbocharged model You're going to need to get either the LT or LTZ trim levels. They will come equipped with a 1.4L 4Cylinder turbocharged engine. The turbocharged engine will have faster 0 to 60 mph times but overall it doesn't have the much more horsepower. The base model engine is going to have a horsepower rating of 137 hp while the turbocharged model will come in at 153 hp. The difference in price is only around $3000 more on average so if You're set on a Chevy Cruze this might be the best choice for You.

A turbocharged 1.4-Liter 4-cylinder engine is standard on every chevy cruze.
Chevy dropped the ball on this one. Got an oil leak mechanic says it's in the turbo system. Will cost $1,000 minimum to fix . Bad design.
