Auto LSD means the Limited Slip Differential on a RAV4 and should only be engaged in case of slippage in very tough terrains like off-roading. The LSD should not be turned on while the wheels are in motion or while driving the car in normal conditions. If You see the LSD light blinking in Your car, then it means that this system is engaged and is actively trying to control Your car to avoid any slippage. If the brakes become overheated during operation, the Auto LSD system will automatically shut off. However, it will be restored automatically after a short time. The system will also shut off automatically when the engine is turned off and will remain off when restarted.

There is a traction button to the left of your steering wheel. Often times one accidentally bumps that button on which causes the LSD light to appear.
