If Your 2012 Dodge Charger has a battery saver light on at the dash that means that it has detected a problem with Your vehicle's electrical system. This may happen when either the alternator or the battery is failing. When stopped the battery in Your Charger should hold around 12.4 volts, and the alternator should charge it at 14.4 volts. When the ECU detects that either of these are out of range it will turn on the battery saver. This battery saver may disable some of the electronic accessories in Your car like the AC or the radio in order to reduce the electrical demand. You should have a battery and alternator test done as soon as possible to prevent the vehicle from dying.

The Batter saver mode on the 2012 Dodge Charger will turn off select electrical functions in the vehicle in order to reduce energy consumption from the battery.
