While You're driving Your Acura MDX, You may suddenly experience a light on Your dashboard that reads, "check charging system." What could this mean The illumination of this light indicates that Your battery is now running only on power supplied by Your battery. You can choose to have the issue dealt with immediately, if You want to ensure that You don't eventually end up with a dead battery. Otherwise, You may find Yourself stuck on the side of the road, needing a boost. If this happens, You have experienced complete failure of the charging system. This can be a semi-expensive fix, between $58 to $259 for parts and labor.

Yep that light went on then 2 min later all the lights went and flickering and the car started to stall. Checked the battery it was good and found it was the Alternater...... $720 OEM to fix.
