What does code 52 mean on the chevy sonic?

I replaced my timing belt at 100K sharp and the code is still there and I now have 111,177 and it did not go away. How do I reset it?

When you get the code 52 on the chevy sonic, it just means that your car has hit 100k miles.

Code 52 is a maintenance code announcing your timing belt is due for replacement. It comes on every 100K miles. If you do nothing, it will turn off at 108K miles. My Sonic has 210K miles on it now and I've never changed the timing belt. Not saying everyone's Sonic will perform this well, but in my lifetime, I've never lost an engine due to a timing belt failure. If the car makes it to 250K, which it is still running very well, I will probably have it replaced.
