The 2013 Toyota Highlander's "Master Warning Light" displays as a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in the middle to let the driver know the multi-informational display contains a message for them. It is set when there is a malfunction somewhere in the vehicle. The light may be accompanied by another warning such as the "check engine" message, but will always be displayed along with a text description of the error. It is only available on Highlanders equipped with a multi-information driver's display. Although the amber triangle appears serious, it can be generated by something as simple as a loose gas cap, a door ajar or an open moonroof. It might also concern an emergent problem like low oil pressure. It's up to the driver to investigate the Master Warning.
