What does the ford raptor off road mode button do?

The off road mode (ORM) button on a Ford Raptor sets the car into an alternate mode that makes driving on challenging terrain and things like off-roading much more conducive. It does so by engaging much additional throttle maps. Furthermore, it also employs a third shift schedule to make off-roading much smoother, while avoiding any sort of negative impact to the car. This is done by altering the throttles and setting it to the drivers demand. This makes the car better suited for alternating speeds quickly, giving the drive a much higher degree of control and stability in challenging terrain. In the Raptor, it comes in the form of an extra button that can be used to toggle the mood on and off.
