The TA label on a Dodge Challenger stands for Trans Am. This was put on the vehicle as a throwback to the original trans am that was used back on the original Challenger in the 70s. Nowadays the TA badge means that it has an exterior body package on it that increases the aggressiveness of the lines on the vehicle. It also makes Your car slightly wider than the original version of the car. The hood on the TA is also larger and is a specific part that was developed by MOPAR. If You need to replace any parts on Your car You will want to make sure that You order the correct TA parts.
