The MINI Cooper useS89 Octane gasoline. Having the fuel burn efficiently is the key to maximizing Your miles per gallon. Your gas tank needs to be in the beSTShape. You will come into problems at some point. The gas tank might become loose. A bad control valve may arise. The gas cap can become stuck and will be quite a hassle to deal with. There could be gas leaks, which need to be looked into pronto. Car parts will eventually become ineffective at some point. The fuel filter needs to be replaced every 30,000 miles or so. If it doesn't get changed, You will come across issues with the performance.

If you're driving a mini cooper s model you'll need to stick to 91 octane fuel and all others run fine with a minimum of 87 octane unleaded fuel.
