The 2016 iteration of the Chevy Cruze uses standard unleaded gas, regardless of the engine type. The 2016 Cruze comes with different engine options. This includes the l-manual, ls manual, ls auto and the premier auto. For best results, Chevy recommends an octane rating less than 87 for the gas. All SRX engines are identical across the board, offering 153 horsepower in a 1.4 liter engine. According to Chevrolet, premium gas isnt required for the 2016 Cruze. Chevy also recommends performing routine oil changes. For this purpose, they recommend using synthetic motor oil, with the 5w-330 sae viscosity oil being the recommended option.

The 2016 Chevy Cruze uses regular unleaded gasoline. All 6 trims - L Manual, LS Manual, LS Auto, LT Manual, LT Auto and the Premier Auto, have the same 153 horsepower, 1.4-liter I-4 engine.
