When You have a check engine light in Your Toyota Camry the first thing You should do is try to stop driving as soon as possible. When You are stopped You can check the engine's ECU for any codes that have been stored. If when You scan Your ECU You get a code P2238 that means that there is low voltage detected on the O2 sensor heater circuit. This usually means that there was a short somewhere in the wiring to Your O2 sensor. You should inspect the wiring for any damage and if it is clear then the most likely problem is with the actual O2 sensor itseLFAnd it will need to be replaced to remedy the problem.
