If You're seeing OBD-II fault code P2714 on Your Toyota Tundra (or any other OBD-II enabled vehicle with an automatic transmission), it means that Your powertrain control module (PCM) has an issue with the transmission control solenoid "D". You'll have four or more transmission control solenoids, and this trouble code specifically points to the fourth. You're likely not looking at too much trouble if You have the solenoid replaced at Your earliest convenience; however, as time goes on, the problem can get more severe. You'll start with decreased fuel economy, and eventually feel something like a mIS Fire. Your check engine light will illuminate, and it's possible that Your transmission will overheat. The last one is the big one; a transmission that runs hot is a transmission that's about to damage itself. I don't need to tell You that transmissions aren't cheap to replace, so swap out the solenoid as soon as possible.

Code p2714 indicates a problem with transmission pressure control solenoid d. It could be a problem with the transmission pump, valve body, or hydraulic passages.
