Though some other users here are reporting that Chevrolet Cruze "code 4" has to do with a temperature sensor issue, I was unable to find any information in any documentation corroborating that. It seems like You might be referring to a DIC (Driver Information Center) code instead of a DTC code; is that what You meant On American versions of the Cruze, You should have a text readout of the issue. If You're instead referring to DTC ("OBD-II") code P0004, it refers to the engine control module (ECM) being unable to read signals from Your fuel shut-off. This points to issues with the fuel-rail mounted volume regulator control, which can be a serious hazard. If this is Your case, You should have it checked out as soon as possible.
