The 2006 Toyota Tundra trd off-road package is made so that the truck will handle better in rough terrain. Some of the highlights for it are the bilstein shock absorbers, which allow it to have a much smoother ride even on rough or uneven terrain. They will make it so there is less damage to the cap as well, as they will make the bumps less jarring, being able to absorb more of the force. There are also skid plates for the engine and fuel tanks. These are large metal plates that act as armor for these parts. They are angled in such a way that things will skid off of them and not hit or puncture the parts behind them.
