What is the 2001 Chevy Malibu fuel pump relay location?

The 2001 Chevy Malibu's fuel pump relay can be found in the under hood fuse box on the left or passenger side of the engine bay. It should be labeled #39 and is responsible for controlling the electrical power to the fuel pump. Signs it needs replacing include a no start, stalling or a silent FP when the key is turned to the "on" position. If the relay has completely failed, a driver can crank, but not fire the engine because the pump is not switched on. If it is intermittently failing, the car may stall and then start later on.
