The mass air flow sensor for a 2001 Dodge Dakota will be located under the hood of the vehicle. Once You get the hood popped up go ahead and check out the right side of the engine and You'll see the intake manifold. Directly below the intake manifold You should see the mass air flow senor. A replacement sensor is going to cost between $20 and $40 if You plan on doing the job on Your own.
